*"Jumpin' Jack Flash" in Elite Beat Agents is currently in the graveyard (by m980) and has been requested to be resurrected by a BAT, it is authentic as hell though and should, without a doubt, be ranked!ġ.

*"Believe" in Ouendan 2 has already been made twice but have both been graveyarded and the download links removed unfortunately, so they still need to be remade! Titles with or labels are songs that are already being made and should not be disturbed, or are awaiting modding in the pending category! Titles with labels are songs that are already authentic and completed.

Titles with labels are songs that have never been attempted and are free to be made. Titles with labels are songs that have been mapped and ranked in the past but need to be remapped as they are basically atriciously made (no offence to original creators). What are all these labels next to the titles below? Beware though, there are hundreds and can only be extracted individually, not in bulk.

I won't explain it now, but there are tutorials online that teach you how to extract the 2D sprites from each level. You must download a piece of freeware called Tinke, and also the ROM file for the game you want to extract sprites from. Where can I get the sprites to storyboard whole levels? I've only set about extracting the Ouendan 1 backgrounds at the moment, so there are more to come, but here they are for now:

Where do I get the soundtracks from? *If links die, PM me! The soundsets for Ouendan 1 are the same as Ouendan 2. However, I use extracted sprites for Ouendan 1 maps which can be downloaded from my "Shanghai Honey" submission.

The skin for Ouendan 1 was created by LuigiHann, but the forum post for the skin is now restricted. If you want an idea of what it means for a map to be authentic, se some of the ranked maps and a short comparison video I posted in the WIP section of this post at the bottom. Storyboards (either backgrounds for breaks, difficulty countdown sprites or the WHOLE storyboard for a level) can also increase the authenticity of the map. For increased authenticity, backgrounds may be set to the 'preview' screen for each level as shown in the original games (these backgrounds can be downloaded below). Authentic maps may also include sound-sets matching exact sounds of the original game for beats, or alternatively for EBA maps or Ouendan 2 maps, LuigiHann's EliteBeatOsu skin ( HD here), or devkit4384's Ouendan 2 skin may be set as default.

*THE NEW OFFICIAL LIST OF OUENDAN/EBA BEATMAPS*Īuthentic maps should have all difficulties mapped out exactly as they would look in the original games, this goes for spacing of beats and design of sliders. I also found for some strange reason that the old topic for the complete list of songs from these games has been restricted, but here it is now, listing all ranked, submitted but not ranked, non-authentic maps and maps that have yet to be made: I've recently submitted my take on Ouendan 1's Shanghai Honey stage down below, and currently working on Atsuki Kodou no Hate *as of 2-15-16. I was browsing through the listings recently and found that I don't think a remake of a song from one of these games has been ranked for nearly 6 years! There's even still a map of Jumpin' Jack Flash by m980 that's been in & out the graveyard since 2008 that's astonishing! Īnyway, I hope to bring back these remakes of these games and get some more people to map the rest of these songs, but I know the majority of users only seem to like excessively hard maps to play these days. On November 6th of this year, it will be 10 years since Elite Beat Agents. On July 28th 2015, it was 10 years ago that Osu! Tatakae Ouendan! was released on Nintendo DS.
